Referral partners

20% recurring, for twelve months.

If you already have the trust of Australian trade businesses, you are one introduction away from a recurring line of income — and your client gets something that actually makes their phone ring.

The deal

Four things, no fine print.

  • 20% recurring for 12 months

On every Australian business you refer, for a full twelve months from the day they start paying.

  • 20% on upgrades and add-ons

If they move up a tier or take an add-on within those twelve months, your commission moves with it.

  • Monthly invoicing

You invoice us for the previous month. We pay on the 15th of the month after that.

  • No selling required

An introduction is the whole job. We take the call, run the setup and handle the support.

What that looks like

A client on Growth pays $110 a week incl. GST. Your commission on that one referral is approximately $1,144 across the twelve months. Ten of them is a meaningful second income for work you did once.

Who this suits

Three kinds of partner.

The common thread is that trade business owners already take your advice.

  • ServiceM8 implementation partners

You already have the integration access and the client’s trust. This is a natural addition to a setup you have just finished, and it makes the system you installed visibly pay for itself.

  • Trade-specialist bookkeepers

You are in their Xero every week and you see which businesses are quiet. You also know, better than anyone, which of your clients can afford $77 a week and which cannot.

  • Agencies serving trades

You are already doing their Google Business Profile or their ads. Reviews are the piece that makes both work harder, and it is a piece most agencies do not want to run themselves.

What you are putting your name to

Your reputation is the thing at risk, not ours.

You are the one who has to face that client at the next quarterly. So it matters that what you are referring them to does not use review gating, does not filter by sentiment, follows ACCC guidance and the Privacy Act, and never promises a review removal it cannot deliver.

Read the compliance statement before you refer anyone. If it does not satisfy you, do not send us a soul.

Straight answers

Partner questions.

How much is the commission and how long does it last?

Twenty per cent of what the referred business pays us, recurring monthly for twelve months from the date they start. It also applies to any add-on or tier upgrade they take on within those twelve months, at the same rate and for the remainder of the period.

When do I get paid?

You invoice us monthly for the previous month, and we pay on the 15th of the following month. If you are not registered for GST, invoice without it — we pay the same base commission either way.

What counts as a referral?

An Australian business you introduce to us that we had no prior contact with, and that goes on to become a paying client. Tell us who you are sending before you send them and there is never an argument about attribution.

Do I have to do the selling?

No. An introduction is enough — a forwarded email or a name and a number. We take the call, we do the setup, we handle the support. You are not expected to explain the product or answer compliance questions.

What happens if the client cancels?

Commission stops when their payments stop. There is no clawback on commission already paid, and no penalty to you if a referral does not work out.

Can I white-label this for my own clients?

That is a different arrangement to the referral program and we handle it case by case. If you are an agency or implementation partner wanting to package this inside your own service, email us and we will talk it through properly.
